This is a male patient who developed an umbilical hernia. The general surgeon he saw wanted to make an incision across his abdomen above the belly button. He thought it should be done a little more "artfully" as he didn't want a scar. He also wanted a nice belly button when he was done.
We were able to hide all of the incisions (both for the hernia and the cosmetic belly button surgery) within the borders of the umbilical rim.
