Sterry Plastic Surgery's caring approach
Have you ever enjoyed going to the doctor? Get ready for a pleasant surprise.
Dr. Sterry's office is conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan, yet we offer the kind of unhurried, personal care you'd expect to find in Poughkeepsie. You'll notice the difference between our practice and a typical New York doctor's office the moment you walk in the door.
How many times have you spent 30 minutes, an hour or more waiting to see a doctor? A medical office that keeps you waiting is sending an unspoken message: Our time is more valuable than yours.
At Dr. Sterrys' office, we realize you've taken time out of your day to visit our office—and you need to be seen on time so you can stay on schedule. You should never have to wait more than a few minutes to see Dr. Sterry.
Have you ever felt like a doctor was rushing you through an office visit—and realized later that you still had unanswered questions?
Dr. Sterry will give you his full attention in a relaxed, comfortable setting. In your personal consultation, he will encourage you to share your questions and concerns as you consider your options for plastic surgery.
Dr. Sterry is genuinely interested in your personal goals for improving your appearance. This understanding will help him recommend the procedure or procedures that will give you the look you desire.
There are many factors to think about when you're considering plastic surgery. Dr. Sterry will guide you in your decision process by carefully explaining the procedures he recommends and answering all of your questions.
Understanding your procedure and having realistic expectations will help you make an intelligent choice—and achieve a successful outcome.
If you're considering cosmetic surgery, our patient coordinator can explain the financing plans we offer through Care Credit. In most cases, she can have an answer from the financing company by the time you complete your consultation with Dr. Sterry.
Our financial coordinator can advise you on whether the procedure you're considering may be considered reconstructive surgery.
She can also review your insurance plan to see whether it covers the type of procedure you're considering and if so, prepare and submit paperwork to apply for benefits.
Once you've decided to schedule surgery with Dr. Sterry, we will guide you every step of the way. You will receive a personalized guidebook to help you get through your procedure smoothly.
Your guidebook will include:
When you choose Dr. Sterry, you have the peace of mind of knowing you have a plastic surgeon who meets the highest standards of training and experience.
Plastic surgery is both an art and a science. In addition to Dr. Sterry's surgical skills, he has an artist's sense of the body's ideal aesthetic balance, proportion and symmetry. This vision guides him in reshaping your body's contours and giving you the results you want.
Dr. Sterry will perform your surgery in a facility with the highest standards of patient safety and quality care—New York's prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital, a AAAA-certified facility.
If you prefer to have your surgery under local anesthesia, Dr. Sterry may offer you the choice of having surgery in his in-office surgical suite.
After your procedure, you can rely on Dr. Sterry for attentive personal care. He will follow up with you to monitor your progress, make sure you understand what you need to do as you recover—and encourage you to call him whenever you have a question or need his help.
Even if you develop a problem in the middle of the night or on the weekend, Dr. Sterry is just a phone call away to ensure you get the care you need.
We invite you to find out for yourself the difference personal care can make.
“Dr. Sterry is amazing. He performed a lower body lift on Nov. 14, 2005 and I am thrilled with the result. He will be doing a breast/arm lift on Feb. 3. I interviewed several of the top plastic surgeons in New York City when I decided to begin my plastics and there was NO comparison when it came to Dr. Sterry.
“He has the most beautiful and most discrete sc... More >>
