Liposuction Case #6880

This 42-year-old man came to our New York City practice requesting Smartlipo liposuction for the abdomen and flanks. He had heard that Smartlipo technology can help to increase skin tone and potentially tighten skin. We both liked this idea better than a tummy tuck for a variety of reasons. At the time of his procedure he was 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed 191.6 pounds on the office scale.

In this case, the total aspirate (volume of fat and tumescent fluid) removed from these areas was just under 2,000 cc. Interestingly, he chose not to take ANY pain medications either during or after the procedure. He simply said he didn't need it.
