Body Case #3030

This patient in her early 40's was deserving of a little refresher to undo some of the damage previous pregnancies had done to her waist.  She was working out on a regular basis, but found that the loose and stretch marked skin on her tummy simply would not go away.  She also found, as many of us do, that the fat accumulating around her waist was extremely stubborn.  She could lose some of it with an extreme lifestyle, but it was not practical to keep that up forever.  She works a full time job and has children at home.  As the years went by she started to realize that her self esteem had diiminished dramatically - more than she was aware of until her girlfriend came in fo my office for a tummy tuck.  When she saw her friends results, she decided it was her turn.  Despite many challenges to schedule and find time to recover, she made it happen.  Now she tells us that she stays fit, but doesn't need to be a workout "Guru" anymore.  She can have a glass of wine or a bite of desert without feeling guilty.
