This is a 50 year old NYC mother who finally had the time to come in for her Mommy Makeover.  We performed a Tummy Tuck along with Liposuction across the entire back and flank region as well as a breast lift (mastopexy).  Her Breast Lift photos can be seen in that section of our photo gallery.

The best part about combining these procedures is that there is only ONE recovery period.  I do the best I can to minimize the discomfort from the tummy tuck by using a TAP block (which we call a "Comfort Block").  This is essentially a nerve block that protects patients from any major discomfort for the first three days of recovery.  It was essential in this woman because she is known to get violently nauseated with many kinds of pain medicine.  In her case, she took only Advil for her minor aches and pains.

She now tells me that she feels like herself again and has regained a sense of confidence that she didn't realize she had lost.
