This patient was in her 40s and wanted her thighs to look better, but she wasn't sure what could be done. Her biggest complaint was the extra skin she seemed to develop as she became more mature. She wanted her legs to look better on the beach or while boating.

After discussions about liposuction and my explanation that I didn't think it would change or improve her skin quality, we decided to proceed with an inner thigh lift operation in New York City. During this procedure, I like to make a bikini line incision and carry it around through the groin toward the buttock crease in the back, always being careful not to carry it too far. In this way, the scar becomes lost in the natural crease that the buttock makes with the upper part of the thigh. I decided upon this method because it gives me the ability to remove more of the inner thigh skin and tailor it properly with less risk of distorting the vaginal anatomy.

Another technique involves a vertical thigh scar. While that method is probably more powerful, it seems to be more painful and has more risk of complications.

Above you can view the before-and-after photos of her inner thigh lift. Notice that there are no visible scars even in bikini bottoms. Also, please note that she had no desire to fix the visible C-section scar which is not related to this case.
