Liposuction For Men Case #2294

Male liposuction is becoming very popular as New York City men are taking better care of themselves.  This patient asked me to remove his "muffin top" using liposuction rather than any of the more aggressive or even non-invasive techniques.  His results are shown 3 months after the procedure was performed and we think he did quite well.  His abdomen is flatter, but more importantly, he waist looks much thinner because the flanks were suctioned.

This is a very common issue with my male patients.  They come in thinking they want belly liposuction because that's what they see when they look in the mirror, but the truth is that the rest of the world can see them from all around.  And for most of us, it's the flank area that holds the most fat.  I find that liposuction in that zone yields a pretty dramatic effect and I encourage most of my patients who ask for tummy liposuction to consider having that flanks done too.  Sometimes I even suggest doing the flank liposuction instead of belly liposuction.
