This patient came in requesting lip augmentation. She didn't want to look like a "duck" or make it at all obvious that she had something done. She just wanted a nicer mouth wtih full lips. I injected JUVÉDERM® Ultra in a quick treatment at my New York City office, attempting to create a contour that would be found naturally in lips.
Note that the lips are not just augmented, but they have also been shaped with additive sculpting. They are fuller but do not look unnatural. Many times lip augmentation is obvious because the filler is placed straight across the lips evenly. This procedure is very technique-dependent. If you want it to look natural, make sure the person injecting you shares your vision.
