This 52-year-old woman complained that she looked older than she really was. After a consultation with Dr. Sterry in New York, he performed upper and lower eyelid surgery before a full facelift, which was done 2 weeks later. Note the shortened distance from the lower eyelashes to the top of the cheek in the postop picture.

Blepharoplasty Technique: Skin, muscle, and fat removal with incision along lash line
Anesthesia: Local anesthetic only
Recovery: Her recovery was hampered by the fact that we went back to the operating room for the facelift 2 weeks later. However, she would have been ready for the gym by 2 weeks.
