This is a 41-year-old woman who asked me to give her a fresher look before her wedding day. She was quite concerned about her heavy upper eyelids and asked for a simple cosmetic procedure that would make her look less tired. After careful consideration, we decided to perform an upper lid blepharoplasty in New York City without a brow lift (but the brow lift was very seriously considered).

During her cosmetic eyelid surgery, I chose to remove a great deal of upper eyelid fat as well as fat that was really located under the skin of the brow. I was trying to debulk as much of the area as I could in an effort to make her appear more youthful. The upper eyelid incision is located right at the crease of the lid, making it truly difficult to find.
