This is a 67 year old woman who came in stating that she looked tired all the time and just wanted to appear refreshed. She specifically wanted to have cosmetic eyelid surgery to help her accomplish her goals. Plastic surgeons call this operation "blepharoplasty" and it can be done on both the upper and lower eyelids - which we did in this case. The operation took place right in the convenience of Dr. Sterry's New York City office with minimal sedation. Patients typically recover quickly with todays techniques and this woman was off to Europe just a couple of weeks after the procedure. The photographs shown here were taken before and 3 months after the proedure was done.
