This is a 39-year-old woman who had struggled with her weight despite being very active and athletic. She told me that she had gained a little weight in the last year, but not so much to deserve the "fat arms" that she had developed. She also said that no matter how much exercise she did, she was unable to get rid of the fat in her arms. I have seen in my office many women who complain about the same phenomenon; fat on the arms is pretty hard to shake off.

She had thought about having an arm lift operation, but I thought that Smartlipo™ liposuction at my New York City office would be her best bet. Frankly, it is a much less invasive procedure and requires practically no arm scar, except for the small incisions near the elbow.
