Lower Body Lift Case #9850

This 40-year-old woman was 5 feet 5 inches tall and 184 pounds after losing 143 pounds with gastric bypass surgery. She was requesting body contouring surgery to give her a more "normal" shape.

In this instance I suggested a lower body lift at my Manhattan practice, combining a fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty as a first step in her reconstruction. Several months later we went back to the operating room and she had an inner thigh lift operation to remove the loose skin between her legs that had prevented her from wearing pants that would otherwise fit her well.
