Liposuction Case #7610

This is a 39-year-old woman who asked for hip and thigh liposuction using Smartlipo in NYC. Like so many of us, she had been struggling with diet and exercise for years but was never able to get her hips or thighs to be quite as small as she wanted them to be.

In this case, we chose to perform Smartlipo liposuction of the hips and thighs. A total of 2,850 cc of fatty aspirate was obtained during the procedure, which was performed under local anesthesia in our office.

These liposuction photographs demonstrate one of the advantages of liposuction over diet and exercise. When we are on a very strict diet and gym regimen, we unfortunately don't get to choose where the inches come off. The nice thing about liposuction is its ability to spot reduce. If there is any given superficial area of fat that you find to be stubborn, I typically find that I can suction it away and patients are unlikely to ever be concerned with it again.
