Neck Liposuction / Chin Liposuction Case #1839

This is a 30 year old New York City woman who came to me asking for a more crisp neckline using Smartlipo Liposuction for the Neck.  I thought she was an excellent candidate because despite her being slender, there was a disproportionate amount of fatty tissue behind her chin in the space between her Platysma muscle and skin.  This is the ideal area to treat with neck liposuction.

We agreed to a procedure date fairly quickly and the patient underwent the 35 minute procedure with local anesthesia alone.  She did well and within a 4 days was back in the office for a checkup with only minor bruising in the lower portions of the neck. The pictures shown as "after" were taken 3 months following the procedure, and as you can see, she did well.
